ABOUT LOCAL VOICE
We are the new newspaper.
We deliver hyperlocal news without the bias or opinion that has come to define traditional newspapers.
We tell the stories of our advertising clients through digital display ads, radio promos, video and sponsored articles.

- Located in: Virginia Beach, VA; Williamsburg, VA; or Wilmington, NC
As our Graphic Designer, you will work with our Client Services and Sales teams to design and execute effective advertising campaigns for hundreds of local and regional businesses.
You will be the primary point of contact for concept, design, traffic, inventory and reporting of digital display ads on four local news websites.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and traffic static and HTML5 display advertisements for local and regional businesses
Communicate on an ongoing basis with internal client services team and advertising clients to execute campaigns
Design various graphic assets as needed, including but not limited to: web sliders, business cards, vinyl banners, etc.
Manage visual brand identity of Local Voice properties, including news sites, radio stations and an e-commerce platform
Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc.
Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
Skilled and experienced in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Familiar with DoubleClick for Publishers, Wordpress, Microsoft Office and G Suite (GMail, GDrive, etc.)
Highly organized, able to manage competing deadlines and an excellent written communicator
Local Voice salaries are above-market by position, commensurate to experience and negotiable.
